About the Artist

I offer graphic recording and consulting services in the North, having gained my skills through training with Sam Bradd from Drawing for Change, as part of a national program by the Centre for Indigenous Environmental Research. This initiative is focused on building capacity within Indigenous communities, equipping them with valuable skills. I am passionate about capturing ideas and facilitating discussions through visual representation, and I am committed to serving a diverse range of clients to help them achieve their goals.
As a self-taught multimedia Omushkego artist based in Timmins, I proudly reside on the traditional territory of the Omushkegowuk and Anishnaabeg peoples. Alongside my professional pursuits, I love being a new mom to my two young children, Finnigan and Liam.

What is Graphic Recording?
Graphic recording is a way to capture important ideas and conversations in a visual format, like a picture story. It's like a comic strip, but instead of telling a story, it helps us remember and understand what was discussed. A graphic recorder uses colours, shapes, and symbols to create a visual representation of the conversation, making it easy to see connections and key points. It's a fun and engaging way to summarize meetings, workshops, or brainstorming sessions, and can help people remember what was said and agreed upon.

What To Expect
As a Visual Practitioner, I listen intently and synthesize your content, combining words and illustrations to create a graphic that supports engagement and understanding, during and after your event.

Live graphic recording is a unique process that differs from studio work in terms of rates for additional editing and revisions. The process involves capturing information in real-time and highlighting the most important points. The output is a visual representation of the discussion with the most pertinent key themes outlined in text with graphics.

Studio work is charged hourly and differs from live graphic recording. It involves editing live graphics or creating visuals using information provided by the client, such as community feedback or PowerPoint presentations. Regular communication with the client is necessary to ensure the work is meeting their expectations from start to finish.
Make Your Next Event Stand Out
Transform your next event into a memorable and engaging experience by incorporating graphic recording. This visual technique involves a skilled artist capturing key concepts, ideas, and insights in real-time, creating a dynamic and interactive visual representation of your event. Graphic recording can be used to summarize keynotes, facilitate discussions, and even illustrate complex information in a way that's easy to understand. The resulting visual art piece can be displayed at the event, shared online, or even used as a marketing tool, leaving a lasting impression on attendees and increasing the impact of your event.
